BB Spaces7月13日 Quarter updateA quarter has passed since last update.
3 months of overnight life was not that tough, but enough for me to get weak (physically). It's so free to be in overnight shift, cos everybody is not around and I can do whatever I want to: including watching youtubes, playing online games, etc, plus we work 4 hours less than others every week!! What's better than this? The shift made me tired enough though. So tired that kept me stay at home all day, n it's kind of hilarious to tell my friends that I haven't gone clubbing for 2 months!! Another funny thing -- I got a praise from a customer!! And I heard that it's the 1st time in dealing. lol
Now that first two weeks of July has passed, and I'm working in evening shift, which has the best working hours, the best clubbing time but the least freedom for my boss is here for most of the time. So far the shift was quite free as Paul hasn't been around. But he's coming back....well...tmr should be the last day of our freedom.
The last thing: July is my month ...get prepared with your presents ...wahahahaha 4月12日 Overnight shiftOvernight shift started formally last Friday, but overnight life didn't start until Mon/Tue..
Overnight life again....feel so free cos nobody is here and I can do whatever I want to. Things I have done these days during work: picking phone calls, answering LP chat, sending SMS, watching servers, MSN, updating blogs and sleeping for about an hour every day. lol
Overnight time seems to pass easily, can't believe it's Thursday already!! 1.5 days of work (8 hrs on Fri and 4hrs on Sat) to go before weekend!! yea~~ Break up....Broke up with Bart was expected, but earlier than I expected. Didn't really feel sad about it, just the opposite, I felt relieved. During this period I learnt what love is, and I realised who I'm in love with...So glad that you still accept me after betrayal, and thanks God for making a choice for me.
4月9日 Feel so hurt...Feel so hurt...
why did you reject my call?
Why didn't you gimme a msg and say you're back?
When can we meet again?
What happened to you? 4月7日 Trip to BangkokThe trip to Bangkok with Apple and Jess was unexpected, but it was still fun.
1st Apr
Arrived at the airport at 6:45am for an early flight, which took almost 3 hours. The sun was bright, so you could imagine how hot it was!! Our hotel was kind of old, nevermind though, cos we wouldn't stay long in our room). We first went to Chaktuchak weekend market, and I heard that it was the largest weekend market in the world!! So huge that you can't finish it in one afternoon. We randomly hanged around and spent 2 to 3 hours on the market, then went to a shopping mall called Esplanado. Had a nice dinner and praetzel before we headed to a gender-bender show. Man they really looked like a real women!!
2nd Apr
Our second day began with a trip to Grand Palace and Wat Emerald. The palace was gorgeous, and the buddha was beautiful too. We spent the whole morning there, then went to 7-eleven, our heaven, to get some snacks for lunch. Later we took rest in Wat Po and got ourselves some massage, so comfortable that made me think of you...After that we went to Kao San Road, hanged around there and settled down in a nice Starbucks, before we went to China town and some cheap bird's nest. What a pity that China town was closed on Monday, or it'd be more interesting. Then we got some drinks in State Tower, where I got myself some martini.
3rd Apr
We first walked to Erawan for a the 'four-face buddha'. We're not a believer in this, so we spent little time on it. Then we headed to Thong Lo, where we spent some time in a store called Playground. Things there were kind of lovely, but very expensive. We tried to take a rest in a cafe called H1, but it was not opened in the morning, so we turned to get some nice 'mango rice', before we had our formal lunch in Je Ngor. Food there was a little bit expensive, but kind of delicious. After that we to Leoland Water Park, a nice place for fun and cool down in water under sunny weather. What else is better than this?? It was already evening when we got back to city center, and spent the rest of our evening in Silom night market, where I bought some souvenirs for you and for my friend, an interesting necklace and a little bag for my camera. Then we had a massage before we went back to hotel.
4th Apr
Basically a shopping day!! Again we walked to Siam after breakfast, and our first stop was Central World, the largest shopping mall in 'Southeast Asia and Hong Kong' (well funny right? that's what printed on their leaflets). Anyway the shopping mall was huge that we could only finish a tiny part of it! (Btw, Jess and I had some delicious ice-cream..hehe..) Had lunch in Siam Paragon, before we visited Jim Thompson's house, where we got to know the guy who developed Thai silk in modern period. After that we went to another shopping mall called MBK, had some yummy toasts there. At last we went to State Tower again. This time we managed to get to Sirocco, but a bit disappointed cos we couldn't see the dome, so we decided to have drinks in Breeze, the pub we went to on Mon evening, not the end of our 4th day though. Cos it's the last night we had in Bangkok, we decided to get some more drink in our room, and I went to bed at 2 sth...kind of late...
5th Apr
A miracle that I was able to wake up early. lol Jess and I spent our morning in the area near the river again, while Apple went for a spa. We went for a boat trip, took a look at the major river in Bangkok, then we went to flower market near Wat Po. Lastly we spent a little time in Siam Center. Met Apple in Burger King near our hotel, and hanged around there for the last time. It was around 3:30pm when we got to the airport. Got back home at around 12:00 Hong Kong Sevens 2007It was another unforgettable evening to me...
Man I couldn't believe that I watched live Hong Kong Rugby Sevens, sth that I've been hoping for long. I was so surprised when you said you got a cheap ticket for me, so I headed to HK Stadium immediately after work~~And the games were really great!! So happy to watch England won Hong Kong (sounds awkward, but I'm always a big fan of English team, come on England!!). Now I can't imagine how excited I will be if I have chance to watch England or Manutd game...hehe...
After the game we had dinner in LKF and had a nice evening again... 3月27日 Working hard n playing hardMarch seems to be a special month to me…
Working hard My job was going smooth generally, except that Joe and I were complained about two weeks ago, and that there were system bugs again…worked for almost 15 hours yesterday (from 5am to 7:45pm, should be the longest working hours I’ve ever had), so crazy that I didn’t realize my hunger. Tired enough, but somehow enjoyed though…lol Luckily my boss allowed us to go to work 1 hr later.
CFA materials are much more difficult than I’ve expected, thanks God though, I started remember things about accounting (those I learned in secondary school). In order to speed my progress up, I decided to read back things that I’m familiar and interested in first, and this strategy seems to be doing well.
Playing hard Picked up my drinking life after NFP. Went to FXCM Annual Dinner and drank a lot, so much that I threw up after home. Joined Ada for drinks in LKF almost every Fri. Went shopping and played badminton with my friends. Hanged out with Bart, enjoyed the time with him so much |
